The Orica-GreenEDGE Winery Ride photo competition entries are now closed and we’ve recieved some sensational photos of your own favorite places to ride. It’s now time to vote for the finalists to choose a winner.

When I was planning the Orica-GreenEDGE Winery Ride photo competition I didn’t realise that Tuesday was a public holiday in Victoria so I’ve extended the voting process until Friday.

Unfortunately not all photo entries made it into the running for prizes. While I greatly appreciate and enjoy each and every photo, some were interpreted as spam, multiple submissions were made, the photo was clearly not taken during the copetition period, the quality was insufficient, or had little to do with the theme of the competition. I also saw many hashtags incorrectly spelled on twitter and instagram which would not have made it into the system.

The photo with the most Facebook likes wins the Grand prize of a weekend away for two at Michelton Winery along with a VIP dinner and a ride with the Orica-GreenEDGE team. Runners up will receive DVD sets of the 2012 Tour de France highlights and “A Sunday in Paris.”

Read more about the rules and prizes here.

Take a look through the photo gallery below and vote by pressing “Like” on whichever photos you wish. You can vote for multiple photos, but each photo can only be voted for once.

I’ll announce the winners on Friday, November 9. Good luck!
