Preview: 2015 Tour de France — Stage 21

Sèvres-Grand Paris Seine Ouest to Paris Champs-Élysées (109.5km)

Sunday, July 26 | 10:35 a.m. EST – 3:20 p.m. EST

This is the stage for Mark Cavendish (Etixx-Quick-Step), Alexander Kristoff (Katusha), André Greipel (Lotto-Soudal), and, perhaps, even Peter Sagan (Tinkoff-Saxo), the best sprinters in the peloton. After three weeks of racing, no one can know how fresh they might be. What is certain is that this traditional stage, which covers a mere 107km this year, will always be highly coveted and hotly disputed. Forty years after the first finish on the Champs-Élysées — when Walter Godefroot won in a sprint — the magic of Paris persists.
