Vale Mark Gunter

We’re extremely sad to pass on the news that photographer Mark Gunter has lost his brave battle with cancer. Mark leaves behind his wife Leeanne and son Lucas. Mark was just 41 years old.

Mark and his work were well known and respected throughout the cycling industry, in Australia and beyond. He won four Cycling Australia photo of the year awards and spent close to 20 years as a sports photographer. Mark followed his passion and lived a richer life than many, but it was not his time to go.

It is a privilege to have known and have worked with Mark. It’s hard to make sense of this unfair and tragic event.

Rest in peace Mark. You’ll be sorely missed by us all. Our sincere condolences to all of his family and friends.
