The 2018 U.S. national road championships take place Sunday, June 24, in Knoxville, Tennessee, and will be streamed live on this page.
The road race will be the final event of the June 21-24 nationals weekend, which also includes the battle for the national time-trial title on Thursday, and the national criterium championship on Friday, under the lights in downtown Knoxville.
Sunday brings the marquee event of the championships, using a similar course from 2017. Riders will climb Sherrod Road on each lap — nine times for the women and 15 times for the men — challenging riders to gradients of 14 percent and more for three-quarters of a mile, followed by the new punchy Clinch Street climb at the end of each lap.
The women take the course at 9am Eastern Daylight Time, and the men race at 1:15pm. Both races will be live streamed by USA Cycling, and shown here. Fans can also follow race updates on Twitter @usacyclinglive #USPro #CritNats.
