The CyclingTips Weekly Quiz #9: Have you been paying attention?

That’s it – the spring classics are over for another year and the attention of the cycling world turns to the lead up to the Grand Tours, beginning with the Giro next weekend.

But before that, of course, we’d be remiss if we didn’t talk about some of the content we’ve had on the site this week.

Liege–Bastogne–Liege, the oldest of the monuments, produced deserving winners in the men’s and the women’s race. Dane Cash provided analysis of Jakob Fuglsang’s win and the route changes that impacted it, while editor-at-large Neal Rogers’ column assessed the winners and losers of the 2019 spring classics.

Elsewhere on the site, there were nutrition tips from contributor Alan McCubbin, who asked what we can learn from how the pros eat at the Spring Classics. A stunning photo essay captured the transition of Pegoretti Cycles, as they rebuild in the wake of the death of their iconic founder, Dario. CyclingTips editor-in-chief Caley Fretz laid out a compelling case for wearing pro team kit, and Zeb Woodpower interviewed veteran Aussie racer Jonny Clarke about his first pro win in a 13-year career.

On the tech front, Dave Rome returned from the Australian Handmade Bicycle Show with galleries of the established masters and the next generation. Matt Wikstrom, former Australian tech editor and now contributor, reviewed a luxurious bespoke Italian aero bike. And it was a big week of product announcements, too, with Pinarello unveiling their flagship road bike and Wahoo rolling out a new computer.
