How to watch the 2021 Tour de France

The 2021 Tour de France begins in Brest on Saturday June 26, 2021 and runs through to its traditional Parisian finale on Sunday July 18. Here’s how to watch the race, from various territories around the world.
USA
Things are changing in the US with the way the Tour is broadcast, but the 2021 race will be available on NBCSN and via NBC’s streaming service, Peacock. The NBCSN coverage will have commentary from Phil Liggett, Bob Roll, and Steve Porino and will also include daily pre- and post-race analysis shows.
To stream the Tour you’ll need a subscription to Peacock Premium which costs US$4.99 a month. The Peacock Premium stream will take commentary from the world feed and will feature start-to-finish live coverage of every stage. Peacock Premium will also feature “full stage replays, highlights, stage recaps and rider interviews”. Australia
As usual it’s SBS TV that has exclusive broadcast rights to the Tour in Australia. Each stage will be live and free on TV (SBS HD) and streaming via On Demand and SBS’s Tour Tracker app. You’ll also be able to catch daily highlights and stage replays via those platforms.
Daily live coverage starts each night between 7:30-8:30pm AEST. For daily broadcast times, and more information about SBS’s coverage, head to the Cycling Central website.
UK
ITV has broadcast rights in the UK again and you’ll be able to catch the race live there for free, both on ITV4 (TV), and via the ITV Hub (streaming). Viewers in Wales can catch the race live via free-to-air broadcaster S4C.
UK audiences will also be able to watch each stage live via Eurosport/GCN+. A subscription to GCN+ will cost you £6.99 per month, or £39.99 per year. You can pick up a subscription to the Eurosport Player (online streaming) for £6.99 per month, or £19.99 a year as part of a deal that’s currently available.
Canada
FloBikes has exclusive broadcast rights in Canada for the 2021 Tour de France. A subscription will cost you CA$149.99 which works out to CA$12.50 per month.
New Zealand
Viewers in New Zealand will likely have to catch the Tour via Sky Sport. The cable service costs NZ$26 per month, plus an extra NZ$32 per month for the Sky Sport package that you’ll need to watch the Tour.
Alternatively, there’s Sky Sport Now (formerly Fan Pass), Sky’s streaming platform. That’s a little more reasonably priced at NZ$40 per month or NZ$400 for the year (NZ$33 per month).
