July 4, 2016 – The best images from the first three stages of the 2016 Tour de France.

Angers, France: The Tour de France ended what it calls its Grand Départ today on stage three as the race moved out of Normandy, its host for this year’s start. Each year the Tour pays homage to a country or region by offering them to host the activities surrounding first three days of the race, and after two years outside of France, the race returned, honoring Normandy and especially the WWII invasions around D-Day.

With a memorable first stage finish to the shores of Omaha Beach, it continued to pass through historic towns central to the Allied Invasion. By all standards, it was a grand depart!

Check back daily as Startt brings a different personality to Le Tour!.
