GRENOBLE (AFP) — HTC Highroad's Tony Martin won Wednesday's 42.5 kilometer time trial at the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré. Sky's Bradley Wiggins was second on the stage and took over the race lead.

Ben Jacques-Maynes is recovering from his fractured left collarbone and is eying a return to racing in July. The Bissell rider told VeloNews that he hopes to be at the start of the Tour de Toona July 5 in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

The old American classic in Philadelphia is back this weekend for the 27th year (18th for women). The young and incredibly versatile Peter Sagan will take on his second Philadelphia International Cycling Championship as favorite, while Ina Yoko Teutenberg will chase the record books in the women’s Liberty Classic.
