Sometimes when you do everything wrong, things just go your way regardless. Other times, no matter how hard you try to do all the right things, everything goes wrong. I had my mind set on trying to win Downer Avenue on Saturday. Contesting the Kenosha criterium on Friday night was not part of the plan, until I found myself in the winning break five laps into the race.
