Lukas Flückiger turned a string of podiums into a win on Sunday, taking top honors on day two of the Planet Bike Cup in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Flückiger (Trek World Racing) escaped from Ryan Trebon (Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld.com) with two laps remaining and held out for the round two win in the Trek Bicycles U.S. Gran Prix of Cyclocross.
Trebon finished second, ahead of U.S. national champion and Saturday’s winner Jeremy Powers (Rapha-Focus). Powers swapped places with teammate Chris Jones in the closing laps and Jones came through fourth, one place better than Tim Johnson (Cannondale).
