The Giro’s first two leaders, Marco Pinotti and Mark Cavendish, were on the same bike for Sunday’s flat stage two: the Specialized Venge.
The Venge is Specialized’s first entry into the aero road frame market. It was first introduced at this year’s Milan San-Remo and HTC-Highroad riders have been slowly adopting it since. Most of the Giro squad has opted for the Venge, but all still have an SL3 available to them.
