GIETEN, Netherlands (VN) — Helen Wyman (Kona Factory Team) won the Superprestige stop here on Sunday in a two-up battle with world champion Marianne Vos (Rabobank-Giant).

Vos and Wyman were together off the front until the finale, when the British champ rode away from the rainbow jersey on the heavy, wind-whipped course to take the victory.

Sanne Cant (BKCP-Powerplus) took third.

Asked how it felt to win a race against Vos, Wyman replied with a huge grin, “It’s brilliant.”
