Hinault fractures left wrist in E3 crash, status uncertain
Hinault broke his left wrist and bruised his back and shoulder in E3 race.

As the result of a fall in Friday’s Grand Prix E3, Sébastien Hinault of AG2R LA MONDIALE suffered a scaphoid fracture of the left wrist, and several bruises and superficial wounds to both knees, according to the team’s website. He also received a suture to close a chin wound and is also suffering from bruises on his back and at the shoulder that will require more medical examinations. Team doctor Eric Bouvat has not decided how long Hinault will be incapacitated.
