Katerina Nash (Luna) won a close one in front of the home crowd on Sunday as the UCI cyclocross World Cup came to Tabor, Czech Republic.
The Luna rider took the second round of the series in 39:59, just six seconds ahead of runner-up Daphny Van Den Brand (AA Drink-Leontien.nl). Sanne Van Paassen (Brainwash) rounded out the podium in third at 14 seconds.
Nash also took over the World Cup lead from Katie Compton (Rabobank-Giant), who skipped the Tabor race to return to the United States for her brother’s wedding. Amy Dombroski (Crank Brothers) was top American in 13th at 1:53.
