UnitedHealthcare swept the podium for a second consecutive day in the Tour of America’s Dairyland as Theresa Cliff-Ryan (Fearless Femme-Pure Energy) won the women’s race at the East Troy Cycling Classic.

The women’s field stayed together for most of the hourlong race until three laps remaining, when Whitney Schultz (Colavita Fine Cooking) made her way to the front as Tibco-To the Top started to make a move on the outside.

Heading into the final lap, Colavita was still pushing hard, but it was U.S. crit champ Cliff-Ryan who was first to cross the line, followed by Cari Higgins (Exergy Twenty16) and Samantha Schneider (Tibco).

With her victory Cliff-Ryan took over the pink leader’s jersey.

In the 90-minute pro men’s contest, Tommy Nankervis (Bissell Pro Cycling) and Cody O’Reilly (Predator) took off with 17 laps to go, forging a 12-second gap.

But UnitedHealthcare brought them back with five to go and in the end seized all three spots on the podium, with Jake Keough taking the victory ahead of Luke Keough and Hilton Clarke. Jake Keough also took over the yellow leader’s jersey.

The Tour of America’s Dairyland continues Saturday at the Giro d’ Grafton.
