LES HERBIERS, France (VN) — Phillipe Gilbert has already had one heck of a season. After dominating the spring classics, he’s now the Belgian national champion. His bike sponsor, Canyon, couldn’t be happier.

For the stars of Omega Pharma-Lotto, the German manufacturer has really pulled out all the stops personalizing bikes. Andre Greipel’s bikes get a gorilla treatment, and Fast Phil has this slick silver and blue Aeroad CF. It’s now his spare bike though, because after winning the Belgian championships, Canyon produced a custom red, black and yellow steed.

Unfortunately the new bike wasn’t ready for photos when I stopped by the team hotel. But Gilbert’s spare bike is so good-looking it’s still worth a glance.
