Pro — Katusha has two Canyon bikes available to its riders during the Tour de France. The first is this Aeroad CF SLX, a brand new aero road frame that has been favored by current King of the Mountain classification leader Joaquim Rodriguez. Rodriguez has his built up with Mavic’s light Cosmic Carbone Ultra wheels, which feature carbon spokes and hub shells in addition to the standard carbon rim. The new frame tucks the rear wheel close to the frame and utilizes truncated airfoils to help reduce drag. An integrated bar/stem improves aerodynamic efficiency as well.
