Gesink at this year's Tour of Oman.

Rabobank brings a loaded squad built around the climbing legs of Robert Gesink for a run for the podium in the 2011 Tour de France.

After finishing sixth last year, the 25-year-old Dutch climber hopes to be in the running for a spot among the final three when the Tour ends in Paris on July 24.

“Gesink will be our sole leader for the team in the Tour, and around him we have a balanced squad,” said sport director Erik Breukink. “With him, we’ll aim for the podium, despite the intense competition in this year’s Tour.”

Missing is Oscar Freire, who once again is dogged by sinus problems.
