Paris (France) – ASO, owner of the Tour de France, has awarded PELOTON magazine the U.S. rights to publish The Official Tour de France Guide in 2019.

Amaury Sport Organisation, owner of the Tour de France, has chosen to award Move Press/PELOTON magazine the exclusive rights to publish The Official Tour Guide for the USA from 2019 to 2021.

ASO has been publishing The Guide since the 1980s and in North America since 2000. It’s currently published in 10 different language editions.

The Guide will be available to pre-order soon through pelotonmagazine.com and available on newsstands from June 12. The Guide is the essential accompaniment for watching the Tour de France, whether it’s tuning in to network TV, streaming on your mobile device or standing on the roadside at the Tour itself.

The Guide offers in-depth profiles on the route of each day’s stage, along with team and rider analysis, and in-depth feature stories about cycling’s greatest race. The Guide is of the highest quality, beautifully designed and illustrated throughout with the best race photography from the Tour’s official photographers in both print and digital.

“The Tour de France Guide is something that is very important to us, giving us an opportunity to preview and showcase our race in advance, as well as helping fans follow the complexities of the event in more detail from start to finish. We have been publishing The Guide for more than 30 years, therefore it’s important that we partner with the best publishers we can. We have seen what Move Press has achieved since the company launched in 2010, and we have been very impressed with how they have carved a new market and audience with PELOTON magazine. They are one of the most progressive publishers in enthusiast publishing and we are excited to see them put their mark on The Guide,” said ASO.

“We are honored and humbled to partner with the greatest annual sporting event in the world and we can assure the cycling community that the 2019 Tour de France Guide in print and digital will surprise our U.S. customers and partners. Our focus on great design, innovative storytelling and our love of all things French—food, wine, history, climbs and culture—will come into play as we partner with ASO,” said PELOTON publisher Brad Roe. “We are creating compelling advertising packages that include print, digital, video, newsletters and social media options, so we can offer our advertising partners new and innovative ways to engage with the Tour de France,” said PELOTON’s Advertising Director, Adam Reek.
