Pro bike gallery: Team USA’s brand new Canyon Speedmax Track for the UCI Track World Championships

Canyon is delving into track racing with a new partnership with USA Cycling's endurance track program.

Between road, gravel, mountain, and time trial, Canyon has some well-rounded and sought-after bikes. But one discipline is missing from the German brand’s lineup: track.

No longer.

Team USA’s endurance squad showed up to the UCI Track World Championships this week with a flashy new Canyon track bike called the Speedmax Track, following the naming convention of the brand’s speedy TT/triathlon models.

Canyon is in the development phase with its track program, so it could be a while before we see anything available to the public. In the meantime, we got a closer look at the bike — built up with Zipp disc wheels, Vittoria tires, an SRM power meter, and Wattshop TT bars — this week as Team USA hit the boards in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France.
