The P.R.O. Pursuit jersey is all about the technical materials. Dimpled aero fabric lines the jersey’s sleeves, smoothing airflow over the shoulders to reduce drag while laser-cut ventilation panels improve airflow to keep you cool and dry.

Made from 80-percent polyester, the Pursuit jersey feels thicker than other lightweight summer jerseys, but it keeps you cool just as well as the paper-thin tops. Coldblack technology paired with Peal Izumi’s own In-R-Cool fabric reflects the sun’s UV rays and pushes heat away from the body for cooling on hot rides. The fabric also wicks moisture away from the body, adding to the jersey’s ample cooling effects.

It’s a tighter-fitting jersey and the technical material doesn’t stretch as easily as more elastic-based fabrics. But when seated on the bike in the riding position, the jersey glides into place — taught but not tight — so the material’s aerodynamic advantages aren’t undermined by flapping fabric.
