Schwalbe is launching new versions of its Rocket Ron and Nobby Nic mountain models for 2010.
Both tires are now available also in 29-inch sizes (29 x 2.25). The 29er rubber offers solid track holding and low rolling resistance. Nobby Nic and Rocket Ron rank among the most sold MTB brand tires. They form part of Schwalbe’s Evolution Line combining the latest tire technology: the grippy-yet-fast Triple Nano Compound, a flexible and sturdy carcass as well as cleverly placed U-blocks for improved cornering grip.
In the 29-inch version, the “all-grounder” Nobby Nic comes equipped with a “snakeskin” that protects it from side damage. It weighs in at 645 grams.

Rocket Ron, on the other hand, is a super lightweight dedicated competition tire weighing a mere 520 grams – with an grip and self-cleaning tread.
Those who love to be extravagant as well as fast will be pleased to hear that Rocket Ron is now available in the classic 26-inch size as a snow-white version in a limited edition.
All the models will be available from mid-April and cost around $75 or $90 (for the white Rocket Ron).
