While we got glimpses of DT Swiss’s offerings for 2012 at Sea Otter back in April, the crews out of Switzerland and Grand Junction, Colorado are now officially rolling out their wheels and suspension for next year.

Prices, however, won’t be finalized before Eurobike, which takes place in late August. Most of the products will be available in October.

XRC 950 T

DT Swiss Tubulars

New high-end tubular wheel set. Nino Schurter from the Scott-Swisspower MTB Racing Team won the first XC-World Cup this year on these wheels. Stiff carbon-rims in combination with the new 180 Carbon Ceramic hub with ceramic bearings and Star Ratchet System. The wheels weigh about 1,200 grams.

The 29er version of the XRC 950 T. The XRC 950 T 29 comes with the same top features as its 26er little brother and weighs about the same at 1,200 grams.

FX 1950 Tricon

DT Swiss Freeride

The TRICON line expands in 2012 with two new wheel sets. The new FX 1950 Tricon is a freeride wheel set, that weighs under 2,000 grams. From the TRICON line features such as the Star Ratchet System and its tubeless compatibility.

TRICON also goes 29 with the XM 1550 Tricon 29. The cross-mountain wheel set is tubeless compatible, equipped with the two piece hub with Star Ratchet System. The weight is approximately 1,800 grams.

XMM 100 29 / XMM 120 29

DT Swiss 29er Fork

Also new to the 29er family is the XMM 100 / 120 with 100mm or 120mm of convertible travel fork. The XMM 100 or XMM 120 offer twin shot damping system, remote control, tapered carbon steerer with carbon crown at just under 1,520 grams.

XMM 150

DT Swiss Fork

The XMM 150 is a magnesium fork with 150mm travel. For 2012 the fork will be available with the twin shot damping system for the first time. The weight of the top version is just under 1,570 grams. The specs are twin-shot damping system, remote, tapered carbon steerer with carbon crown.
