Santa Cruz's new Highball carbon frame is said to weigh 2.4lbs.

Singletrack.com’s Zach White is out in the wilds of Utah with the Santa Cruz Bicycles gang. And besides the likely debauchery taking place, everyone is out on Gooseberry Mesa for a reason: To ride SBC’s newest offerings.

And that includes the Highball. The hardtail 29er’s frame is said to weigh in at 2.4 pounds.

And a 29er isn’t the only fresh goods from Santa Cruz that Zach White will be sampling for the next few days. Once recovered from the outing, ZW will get us all up to speed on Santa Cruz’s rendering of the Tallboy in aluminum and the Blur TRc, a trail bike tweak of the Blur in carbon.

Get a glimpse of the bikes on Santa Cruz’s web site. And keep checking Singletrack.com for Zach White’s report from the bike launch in Utah.
