Milan’s Castelli Cycling has roots to 1876 with a fine tailor named Vittore Gianni who outfitted Milan’s local soccer club and ballet company. Five-time Giro winner Alfredo Binda was a Vittore Gianni customer. In 1936, Armando Castelli purchased the business, growing its high-profile clientele to include national legends Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali. Through the years, Castelli supplied clothing to some of cycling’s biggest teams and riders.

These partnerships allowed Castelli to sit at the vanguard of technical-wear innovation, which included a number of cycling firsts. It became the first to offer Lycra shorts, the first to produce colored shorts, and the first to do sublimated printing and the first windproof jerseys. In 1974, the company launched an early version of its now iconic scorpion logo. From speedsuits to club kits, Castelli has always been consistently recognized for its high quality and pioneering efforts.
Today, Castelli works closely with Britain’s Team Sky to continue driving innovation. Team and company worked closely to develop the latest collection. From fit to fabric and stitch to performance, Castelli customers get the same level product as Sky’s pros.
Servizio Corse is Castelli’s custom program. Based in Portland, Oregon, the sales and graphics teams work to build trust through creating speedy and accurate custom projects. Most jersey and bib orders have a 10 per piece minimum. Depending on purchase size, Castelli’s most common custom orders are the $69 jersey and $129 bibs.
A custom order starts with a visit to serviziocorse.com. Find the garments you want, download the design template and start sketching. Castelli’s designers get to work finalizing the proper look once they have the sketched concept and appropriate logos. Design services are included in the process at no extra cost. A regional sale representative is assigned to every project to help shepherd the process. Depending on the time of year, start-to-finish production can take four to six weeks. Castelli will drop ship the garments in bulk or ship to individuals.
With local representatives in most markets, Castelli is focused on building lasting relationships with every customer. Those representatives will help teams and clubs get the exact final product with the perfect pro look.
