The Impec has a complicated manufacturing process and BMC couldn’t keep up with consumer demand after Cadel Evans rode the bike to victory at the 2011 Tour de France. BMC intentionally cut the Impec from the team’s stable in 2012 until they could figure out a way to simplify the production process. BMC now claims to be able to deliver an Impec a few weeks after an order is placed. Photo: Evan Rudd
