Teams, both big and small, are racing this week in Belgium on Wednesday and Thursday for Scheldeprijs and Grand Prix Pino Cerami. Most North Americans haven’t heard of the races, but that doesn’t mean they are small affairs.

Scheldeprijs, raced on the Wednesday between Flanders and Roubaix, was won last year by Tyler Farrar. This year Chris Sutton of Team Sky will give it a go. His Pinarello Dogma is a striking machine.

UnitedHealthcare’s Johnny Clarke is back in Europe after racing in Italy with Australia’s development program. He’ll line up at the Grand Prix Pino Cerami in the Walloon region of Belgium on Thursday aboard his Boardman SLR.
