Mar 21, 2016 – SIDI and its Ergo line of shoes have continually raised the bar for fit, Kicks X3 performance and technology. The latest in the storied line, the Ergo 4 Carbon, will undoubtedly continue the tradition.

Instead of the three different closures of the Ergo 3—Velcro, Tecno ratchet and buckle—the Ergo 4 uses two Tecno 3 dials and a Velcro forefoot closure.

The Twelve Carbon Composite outsole is the lightest and stiffest version of SIDI’s carbon-and-nylon matrix design. Other well-known and race-proven SIDI features abound: soft instep closure, replaceable heel pad, adjustable heel retention, and reinforced heel cup.

The last is pure SIDI magic, providing what is still the best fit in the peloton, and the Ergo 4 will be available in the wide Mega version if a low volume shoe is not for you. The Ergo 4 Carbon weighs 318 grams for a size 42 and comes in white, black and now brilliant yellow, which we can only imagine is to help commemorate Chris Froome’s second Tour victory in SIDIs this past summer.

Chris wears the SIDI Wire—and be sure to check out the super-limited-edition blue Wire’s that SIDI just announced.
