Feedback on a recent column about using the same brake pads for carbon rims and aluminum rims

Dear Lennard,
The aluminum brake surface on wheels will eventually wear out. In the early stages, you cannot hear this when braking. But almost-too-small-to-see aluminum particles are being imbedded into the brake pads, which will cause irreversible damage to rims with carbon braking surfaces.
