The 16th edition of the 2025 Lauf Gravel Worlds rolls out from Lincoln, Nebraska, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, with the biggest prize purse in gravel racing history and a stacked international field. For the first time, the race offers a $100,000 purse — split evenly between men’s and women’s fields — cementing its place as a marquee stop on the Gravel Earth Series. Winners of the 150-mile pro race will take home $17,500 each, with payouts running 10-deep.
Expect the deepest professional lineup yet. With SBT GRVL moving to June, Gravel Worlds no longer competes for calendar space, opening the door for more European pros to join U.S. standouts. Look for local favorite John Borstelmann, who honed his racing chops on Nebraska gravel, and Girona-based Morgan Aguirre, current Gravel Earth Series leader, as top contenders. Defending champion Lauren Stephens is also expected to headline the women’s field.
