May 13, 2015 – Over the last two days, there has been a plethora of young talent showing up on the podium of world tour races. First it was Davide Formolo, 22 years of age, winning stage four of the 2015 Giro d’Italia; then, on the other side of the world, Tom Skujins, 23, won stage 3 of the Tour of California and took the overall GC lead; today, it was Jan Polanc, only 23 years old and he would take the fifth stage of this years Giro. But the young guns haven’t been all the excitement at the Giro, because the top three on the general classification have been scrapping it out for seconds, just five days into the three week tour.
