Yeti sweeps Men's Gravity Events in Snowmass

With three of five series events complete, Kain Leonard and Darian Harvey lead the first-ever Pro Gravity Tour.

Aaron Gwin (Yeti) and Darian Harvey (Cannondale) won the men’s and women’s downhill contests at Snowmass, Colorado over the weekend of Aug. 8 and 9.

The Snowmass event, dubbed Blast the Mass, was the third stop on USA Cycling’s Pro Gravity Tour.

Another Yeti rider, Jared Graves, took the men’s 4X title while Rachel Bauer (Banshee-Poison) topped the small women’s pro 4X field.

With three of five series events complete, Kain Leonard (Crested Butte Mountain Sports) and Harvey lead the first-ever Pro GRT.

Next Up

The next race on the 2009 Pro GRT will be the Yankee Clipper at Windham Mountain, Aug. 15 and 16.

With two of three races complete Mitch Ropelato (Cafe Rio-Canfield Bros) leads the Pro GRT 4X men’s standings.  Jacqueline Harmony (Vixen Racing) leads the Pro GRT 4X women’s standings.
