Gerald Ciolek, winner of the 2013 Milano-Sanremo, has signed with Danish Pro Continental team Cult Energy-Stolting Group for 2016 and 2017. The 29-year-old German leaves MTN-Qhubeka after three years with the African outfit.

Ciolek is best-known for his surprise win in Sanremo three seasons ago, but he’s also a Vuelta a España stage winner — that victory came in 2009, when he rode for Milram. He has also won four stages at Bayern-Rundfahrt over the years.
