USA Cycling’s chief operating officer Steve Johnson has been named as the organization’s interim chief executive officer until a permanent replacement for the departing Lisa Voight is named later this year. Voight announced her intention to resign from the CEO’s post on May 1st, in order to devote time to her family. Voight is now nine-months pregnant with twin girls. Following her parental leave, Voight is slated to take on the job of USA Cycling’s Senior Advisor for Olympic and International Relations to USA Cycling.
