Superstar sprinter Lorena Wiebes is set to join SD Worx for 2023, signing a contract that will see her riding for the Dutch outfit until 2025.

AD and NOS report that the 23-year-old will break her contract with Team DSM where she was due to stay until the end of the 2024 season. Apparently there is a clause in her current contract that facilitates departure should financial incentives tempt her away.

The offer from SD Worx will make her the highest earning rider in the women’s peloton.
