The Court of Arbitration for Sport has set specific dates for hearing the UCI and WADA’s appeal of Alberto Contador’s doping case. The hearing is set for November 21-24, CAS announced Wednesday. CAS had previously said the hearings would be held in “late November.”
The hearings will be held at CAS’s headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland. They are not open to the public or the press.
The UCI and WADA are appealing the Spanish cycling federation’s decision to not punish Contador for a doping positive from the 2010 Tour de France. Contador has maintained that the positive for clenbuterol was caused by contaminated meat.
