Green-jersey contender José Joaquín Rojas and Ángel Madrazo have each extended with Spanish outfit Movistar.

Rojas, the reigning Spanish national champion who gave Mark Cavendish a run for the green jersey at this year’s Tour de France, will stay with Movistar through the 2013 season, the team reported Thursday.

Madrazo, 23, is considering one of the top up-and-coming Spanish talents and will also stay with Movistar for two more seasons.

Other Movistar riders who are confirmed for the future include Andrey Amador, sprinter Jose Ventoso and three-time Italian champion Giovanni Visconti.
