Reporting to us from southern California, VeloNews managing editor Neal Rogers and photographer Casey B. Gibson each managed to snap a few photos of the sparkling BMC bikes of the eponymous ProTour team.
We had taken a took a look at George Hincapie’s winter training bike in South Carolina last month. But in California, Casey and Neal got a good look at his race bikes.
For now Cadel Evans and Alessandro Ballan are pedaling custom-painted Promachine SLC01s, while Hincapie is on a Racemaster SLX 01 . They’re trimmed with Campagnolo Super Record groups, Easton carbon wheels, Selle Italia saddles, plus Easton bars, stems, and seatposts. By the looks of it, they’re all riding Speedplay pedals as well.
