VALKENBURG, Netherlands (AFP) — The two Dutch ProTeams on Tuesday confirmed new signings for 2013, with Australian Jack Bobridge set to join Rabobank and Slovenian Grega Bole headed to Vacansoleil-DCM.
Rabobank confirmed today that it has signed Bobridge from Orica-GreenEdge. Bobridge, the 2009 world U23 time trial champion, has since February 2011 held the world record in the 4km individual pursuit on the track. He fell afoul of the law in June when he was arrested and ultimately forced to pay a fine of 800 euros for his involvement in a minor auto accident in a parking garage while driving under the influence.
Bole arrives to Vacansoleil from Lampre-ISD after winning a stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné in 2010 and the GP Ouest-France in Plouay in 2011.
