In 2009 George Hincapie was a popular home-town champion.

The 2010 professional road championships are once again being held in Greenville, South Carolina, the home of the reigning national road champ, George Hincapie.

The time trial is held Saturday at the campus of the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) on a 6.9 mile course completed three times. The first rider goes off at 11:30 am.

The road race is held Sunday on a 112-mile course that starts and finishes in downtown Greenville and includes four trips up Paris Mountain. The race starts at 1 pm.
