Americans Abroad: Farrar and Haga back to racing
In this week's Americans Abroad, three Americans were back to racing after skipping the Tour de France and women race in London.

Tyler Farrar (Dimension Data), Chad Haga (Giant – Alpecin), and Alexey Vermeulen (LottoNL – Jumbo) have raced WorldTour races all season, but none were on their respective Tour de France squads. All three Americans returned to racing last week. Farrar raced in London at the one-day RideLondon Classic, where he finished 68th. Haga and Vermeulen raced the Clasica San Sebastian in Spain, another one-day race. Haga did not finish and Vermeulen was 98th.

Cullen Easter (Illuminate)
Easter and his Illuminate teammates raced in China at the Tour of Qinghai Lake. Overall, he was 39th, 33:52 behind the winner Sergiy Lagkuti.
Griffin Easter (Illuminate)
The younger Easter brother was the top-placed American in China, coming in 21st overall. His best stage was the third stage, where he came in 10th place.
Gavin Mannion (Drapac)
Mannion is riding the Volta a Portugal em Bicicleta throughout the week. After Sunday’s stage 4, he sat 33rd overall.
Connor McCutcheon (Illuminate)
McCutcheon was the final American on the Illuminate squad in China racing Qinghai Lake. He did not finish the race, as he did not start stage 12. Prior to withdrawing from the race, he was 65th overall and had a top-20 finish on stage 2, when he finished 14th.
Carmen Small (Cylance)
Carmen Small raced her first WorldTour race since signing with Cylance at the Prudential RideLondon Grand Prix. The time-trial specialist put together a strong sprint and finished the race eighth with the same time as Kirsten Wild (Hitec Products), the race winner.
Alexis Ryan (Canyon – SRAM)
Ryan raced in London Saturday and finished 28th, on the same time as Wild.
Alison Tetrick (Cylance)
Small’s Cylance teammate finished the Ride London Grand Prix in 101st place, 8:28 behind Wild.
Tibco – SVB
Lauren Hall, Kendall Ryan, and Lauren Stephens raced in London on Saturday. Ryan was the best finisher for the team, in 22nd; Stephens was 77th, 22 seconds back; Hall finished 88th a further 19 seconds behind.
Rally Cycling Women
Heather Fischer, Emma White, Jessica Prinner, and Erica Allar were the Rally women in London Saturday. Allar was the team’s first finisher in 32nd; White was 38th — both women finished on the same time as the winner. Fischer and Prinner finished 103rd and 104th respectively.
