Italy's Pietro Caucchioli Crédit Agricole) finished second with Swede Thomas Lövkvist (Columbia) third after the 182.6km run from Munich to Hesselberg. Germany's Linus Gerdemann (Columbia) finished fifth to hold the overall race lead.
