Sevilla back after doping suspension — Cyclismactu.fr

Oscar Sevilla returned to racing at the Tour of Telmex in Mexico, six months after his positive test and subsequent suspension for Hydroxyethyl, a drug designed to mask EPO. Sevilla won Telmex in 2010.

The CAS will decide in the coming days whether the six-month sanction handed down by the RFEC (Spanish Cycling Federation) was sufficient.

No Boonen, Cancellara, Gilbert for Dwars door Vlaanderen — Gazet Van Antwerpen

Dwars door Vlaanderen seems to be one for the sprinters this year, with most of the classics favorites staying out of the race. The field this year is topped by fast men, including Mark Cavendish, which should see the result play out differently than in years past.

Changes to the schedule have kept top riders away, as E3 Harelbeke gained WorldTour status and is therefore attracting most of the top classics riders.
