After four years as the ProMan Hit Squad, the domestic women’s team is changing title sponsors this year, becoming the Peanut Butter & Co. TWENTY12 Team, with former world champion and Olympic gold medalist Kristin Armstrong as director.
The team is focusing on developing riders for the 2012 Olympics in London, said General Manager Nicola Cranmer.
Four riders are returning: Shelley Evans, Cari Higgins, Coryn Rivera and Ruth Winder. New additions: Mara Abbott, Katharine Carroll, Lauren Tamayo, Kristin McGrath, Alisha Welsh and Sinead Miller.
The California-based team retains ProMan (a Swiss-based project management company) as a supporting sponsor and the team expects to announce additional sponsors soon.
