Thirteen cogs, two chainrings and, yes, two thumb levers. We’ve been testing Campagnolo‘s new Super Record 13 wireless drivetrain, and Josh Ross is on the Velo Podcast this week to answer Levy’s questions about how the 2×13 system compares to Shimano Dura-Ace and SRAM Red, the return of thumb paddles, and the near-endless gearing options.

And while Campy says that Super Record 13 shifts faster than the previous 12-speed version, the more interesting bullet point might be that it costs much less despite the added cog. The guys dig into the comparisons, the crazy battery pricing, and also what Super Record 13 might be like to live with on a day-to-day basis.
