For years, Primal staked its reputation on outlandish aesthetics that set the company apart from more conservative styles. While Primal’s more eye-assaulting patterns have been tempered, the Hyperion still showcases a wild but wearable look in a comfortable and race-ready jersey.
Make no mistake, this is a performance jersey. The laser-cut armbands lay flat and comfortable to prevent flapping on the arms and shoulders, and the overall cut of the jersey is snug.
Mesh side panels keep you cool during warm weather. In fact, the entire jersey is fairly airy, so this would be a good choice for hot summer rides. The silicone waist gripper prevents ride-up in the back.
It’s simple, comfortable, and subtle (by Primal standards) without erring too far on the side of plain jane. Kudos to Primal for revamping its style without losing its identity.
