Francesco Chicchi (Vini Fantini) won stage 4 of the Tour de Langkawi on Sunday in Kapar, Malaysia.

Chicchi beat Andrea Guardini (Astana) and Aidis Druopis (Orica-GreenEdge) in a bunch sprint on the seaside.

Meiyin Wang (Hengxiang) maintained his overall lead and sits 2:43 ahead of second-place Julian David Arredondo (Nippo) and 3:29 ahead of Nathan Haas (Garmin-Sharp) before Monday’s important climbing test.

The Tour de Langkawi continues Monday with the 110km fifth stage from Proton, Shah Alam to Genting Highlands.
