Fabian Cancellara rides the Domane 6-series all year. His has slightly different geometry (a much lower head tube and quicker steering) than the standard Domane. Consumers can by the special version, called the Classics Edition, from Trek, thanks to UCI rules that mandate all pro bikes be available to the public. Photo: Trek Factory Racing
Trek Factory Racing has three road bikes available to each of its riders. The Domane, shown here, is intended for use in the Classics, but some riders, like Fabian Cancellara, use it all year. The team also has the light and stiff Emonda and aerodyanmic Madone frames available. Photo: Trek Factory Racing
Trek provides most equipment for its Trek Factory Racing team. The wheels, cockpits, and saddles are Bontrager, a Trek house brand, as is the clothing. The tires shown here are from Veloflex, so it appears that Trek will not ride Schwalbe tires as it did last year. Photo: Trek Factory Racing

People For Bikes recently surpassed its 1 million cyclist goal, and will once again be partnered with Trek Factory Racing in 2015.
The ISOspeed decoupler allows the seat tube to flex independently of the top tube. Trek hates it when we call it a pivot, but that’s what it is. Photo: Trek Factory Racing

Though the color of the bikes has changed, it seems that the team’s kits will still feature the striped pattern of 2014. Photo: Trek Factory Racing

Every frame used in the pro ranks has to be approved by the UCI, and has to be publicly available. That’s why we can buy special frames like the Classics Edition. Photo: Trek Factory Racing

Cancellara will likely ride a custom-painted Domane at the Classics this year, as he usually does. But he’ll start the year on this Domane. Photo: Trek Factory Racing
