HTC-HighRoad switched to Specialized this year, and the team has already put the California company’s Tarmac road bike across the line first in Australia. Later this year you’ll see HTC in time trials on the Shiv.
First introduced with an aerodynamic nose cone, the Shiv was reworked after the UCI objected to the design. HTC’s model is the same design as Saxo Bank and Astana rode last year. After creating a special smaller size for Alberto Contador last year, Specialized now has five sizes of the Shiv.
