Garneau’s super lightweight jersey is serious about fit, tight without feeling restrictive and with longer, laser-finished sleeves.

Thin, slightly see-through mesh fabric crisscrosses the top of the jersey and over the shoulders — ideal for hot summer rides. More modest riders might look elsewhere or plan to always wear a base layer (which defeats the purpose of this super lightweight summer jersey), but we love the mesh sections and the massive amount of ventilation this jersey provides. Tailwind climbs up Boulder’s Sunshine Canyon this summer won’t stand a chance against this top.

And who says summer jerseys have to be white? The Superleggera 2’s moisture wicking material uses Coldblack technology that reflects UV rays to reduce heat buildup, even on darker materials.

Garneau’s super lightweight jersey is also serious about fit. We love the racer cut that is tight without feeling restrictive and those longer, laser-finished sleeves are everything we’ve wanted in women’s competitive cycling gear. The jersey stays put when we move around on the bike, stretching where it needs to when we get low and long for mid-race breakaway, and it doesn’t bunch up when we’re in an upright, relaxed position.

Three full-sized back pockets easily stretch to fit all the food and gear you could want for a big summer ride. And they’re angled so that getting these goodies in and out of your pockets is that much easier. The jersey also has a sweat-resistant multimedia pocket that blocks moisture to keep your phone dry.
